Ask the Aromatherapist

Each month Emma Fairbrass CAHT (Certified Aromatherapy Health Therapist) answers a question on Aromatherapy.

Question
I don't like the smell of Geranium essential oil. Can I use something else in a blend to replace it. It's for "female" issues and I want the blend to rub on my stomach. Does it matter if I don't like the smell? Anonymous

Answer
If possible use a blend where you enjoy the smell as you will be more likely to use it. There are lots of essential oils that help “female issues”.
Try using these essential oils:
Bergamot
Carrot Seed
Clary Sage
Juniper Berry
Lavender
Neroli
Rosemary
Ylang- Ylang
Rose
And these are just to name a few!
