Question November 2008
Hi Emma,
I have a question that is slightly different from your normal questions, I hope that's OK.
I would like to try an Aromatherapy Massage treatment but I am very self conscious about the look of my body. Do I have to undress for the treatment?

Answer
Hi Anonymous,
Good question.
You should never have to take off your clothing if you are feeling uncomfortable. If they insist then find another therapist.
Book your massage with someone you feel comfortable with. Using someone of the same sex may ease your tension. Let them know you feel uneasy and remember the Aroma therapist is there to make you feel relaxed and comfortable.
Body image affects many people you can start your healing today by developing a personalized Better Life program with SCT founder Jacqueline Fairbrass.
Best Wishes,
Emma
Question December 08
Hi Emma,
This may sound like a silly question but my son is allergic to nuts, can I use carrier oil for massage made from peanuts or sweet almond?
-Michael
Answer
Hi Michael,
No. You should never use carrier oil made from nuts on anyone allergic to them. Try using carrier oil such as my favorite Grape seed, or try using Sunflower or Safflower. These are inexpensive choices and you can find most of them at your local health food store even the supermarket. Specialty stores carry these and more expensive oils. Apricot is one you might like to try.
