Reflexology is a natural healing art and bodywork technique. The therapist strokes, massages and applies pressure to one part of the body to effect changes in another part of the body. By using reflexology on the feet, hands, face and/or head, muscles relax and the body's natural ability to heal itself is stimulated. Reflexology balances by relieving tension, improving circulation and promoting the natural function of the body.

What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is a stress-reducing, specific bodywork technique, where the therapist strokes, massages and applies pressure to one part of the body to effect changes in another part of the body, relax muscles, and stimulate the body's natural ability to heal itself.
What does "Reflexology" mean?
There is a 'reflex point' on the feet, hands, face and ears for every gland, organ and part of the body. These places on the feet are joined by energy lines through the body and are most often drawn as 'foot maps'.
Why does everything seem horrible when my feet hurt?
There are seven thousand nerve endings on each foot. No wonder when your feet ache you feel grumpy!
Why should I take care of my feet?
The average person takes between 7,000 and 10,000 steps a day-totalling around 2.5 million a year. They need to be cared for, so they keep going. Foot Reflexology improves circulation in the entire body, including the feet.
What is anatomy?
Anatomy is the structure of an organism and the inter-relations of its parts. It is concerned with well-defined physical structures, which involves the skeletal system.
What is physiology?
Physiology is the science that studies the functioning of living organisms and their component parts.
I am in a hurry to learn Holistic Healing, why should I take time to learn Anatomy and Physiology?
Many of us feel powerless in the face of illness or dis-ease. Understanding how the human organism is structured and how the body works can help us regain our health confidence. If you wish to help others, they will expect you to know how the body works.
