Rosemary Cookies
- 1/2 Cup Butter or Margarine
- 1/2 Cup Oil
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Icing Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoon Cream of Tartar
- 2 Cups Flour
- 2 Tablespoon Chopped Fresh Rosemary or Dried
Preheat oven to 375 Degrees. Combine all ingredients except Rosemary and mix thoroughly. Mash Rosemary and mix gently. Form into small balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with the bottom of a glass dipped in sugar. Bake for 6 minutes. Turn pan and bake 2-4 minutes longer until cookies are just golden brown and stir Makes 3-4 dozen.
"Walk in the woods"
15 ml Peppermint hydrosol
15 ml Sweetgrass hydrsol
4 drops Sage essential oil
5 drops Balsam fir essential oil
4 drops Bayleaf essential oil
1 drop Sandalwood essential oil
Mix together in a glass spray bottle. This room spritizer is calming, comforting, grounding and relaxing.- Denise Simonne Aiello
"Sleep like a baby"
40ml Sweet Almond oil
10ml Rose Hip oil
5 drops Sandalwood
8 drops Frankincense
20 Bergamot
16 Lavender
Blend together and gently massage oil into body.
This subtle blend with help ease anxiety, depression, insomnia and helps aid with maturing skin.

"Woodland Retreat"
50ml Sweet Almond oil
4 drops Rosewood
2 drops Roman Chamomile
2 drops Vetiver
3 drops Clary sage
4 drops Blood orange
Blend together and gently massage oil into body.
This blend will help relieve stress.

Aromatherapy in the Kitchen- Cardamom and lemon cookies
from Aromatherapy Student Dianna Bernhardt.
2 cups of all purpose flour
¼ teaspoon ground cardamom
1 cup butter or margarine
½ cup powdered sugar
½ cup heavy cream
½ cup ground almonds or walnuts
½ cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons grated lemon rind.
Mix cardamom and flour
Cream butter and sugar
Add flour mix
Add in cream
Roll out dough into ½ inch thickness on a lightly floured pastry cloth. Cut with a 2 ½ inch cutter. Place on ungreased cookie sheets
Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
Sprinkle on sugar and lemon rind. Enjoy!

- A little treat for over the holidays - 
Although we think of Lemonade in the summer, it always makes a lovely punch. Instead of the edible flowers I use in the summer, I serve this in the winter with some cranberries floating around int it. It's always nice with company to share your aromatherapy skills. Enjoy, J
