In response to so many requests for photos...here's our favourite from the Wedding Day this September. Weather was lovely, company was great and everything was "absolutely fabulous". Thanks to all for so many blessings and well-wishes.

Welcome Michele to the Teaching Team!
Our newest addition to our Teaching Team, Holistic Foot Reflexology Instructor Michele announced the dates of her first class in Ottawa and instantly filled it up! Enroll now for her September class, 13, 14, 20, and 21.
Congratulations to Sarah and Matt!
Some of you may remember Sarah Fairbrass working in the Ottawa office before taking a "gap" couple of years in Vancouver. Sarah and Matt became engaged on June 7th. Past students and grads will remember Sarah from classes and trade-shows when she studied Reiki, A&P and Color Therapy and graduated in Holistic Foot Reflexology. Sarah now works in accounting, but uses her holistic skills on a daily basis and maintains an organic mostly vegetarian diet. Sarah is Behind the Scenes in our Ottawa Office.
This March our Reiki Master graduate and soon to be SCT Usui Reiki Instructor Adrian McKeague and his wife Kris were gifted with a new addition to the family. Unfortunately, at the time, sadness arrived with dear little Penelope's birth and we chose to wait to announce it in our Newsletter. Penelope was still-born. She was resuscitated and after a long strong struggle has come home to Kris, Ade and big brother Matheo. Penelope has cerebral palsy. Our thoughts and prayers are with this loving family as we now all share in celebrating Penelope's arrival. Welcome Penelope!
Lauren (RN) and Ryan from Behind the Scenes in our Vancouver Office have a new addition to their family. Baby boy Jackson came into the world in May, weighing in at 9lb 6 oz! Congrats to mum, dad and the family.
Felicia Dawn King and her husband Dale welcomed new additions to the family River Jade and Michael James on March 27, this year. Felicia is a recent graduate from the Traditional Holistic Aromatherapy Training Program and a fun-filled participant at our Advanced LightWorker evenings. Felicia is taking a little time off to be with the twins but promises to return to LightWorkers as soon as she is able. She's also taking a time out of her home-based private practice and The Spa in Bell's Corners, but continues to keep her hand in with Aromatherapy, Reiki and LightWork at home, with family and friends. Congratulations Felicia and Dale! (Watch for Felicia's Story, coming soon to Success Stories).
Rhys Matthew Griffiths came into the world on Sunday April 6th at 8:31. Proud mother Robyn, our Holistic Foot Reflexology Examiner will be back soon as she's "on her feet" to start examining again. Thanks for the patience of those students who have been waiting, and thanks to Jackie Cave, Reflexology Instructor for filling in for Robyn in Ottawa."

Here at SCT we recognize that people don’t live and learn in a vacuum. They have families, friends, jobs, responsibilities: in other words “lives”. Most SCT students are adding time to study into their busy lives. At SCT we recognize this and take the community-based model as our basis.
SCT instructors, teachers and facilitators work and live in the CAM field, continuing to study, learn and grow.
SCT students are encouraged to become part of the SCT Community: in the model of “holism” that is SCT and its courses, programs and therapies.
We are proud of our SCT graduates and encourage them to share their stories and successes with us.
Become part of the SCT community by sharing with us. Get involved by taking courses, volunteering, training as an instructor, subscribing to the Newsletter, writing articles, sharing tips and telling your friends about SCT. We have something special here…pass it on…and remember to keep in touch. There’s always something new happening at the School of Complementary Therapies
